This post is a conceptual summary of the chapter of the same name in the book "How the Future of Work will be" that I started writing in 2012 about the futuristic of the future of work.
Crowdsourcing refers to the collaboration of distributed work.
It mainly consists of assigning tasks to an external group of people through announcements.
This type of work allows that when publishing a task in the community of workers, the most indicated will be posited to solve it and with fresh skills and outside the culture of the company that allow a better innovation and predisposition.
This modality enables to meet new qualified specialists, to find new answers, better quality, freshness and benefit to the employer to pay for specific jobs and the offered contractor to work for a specific task in a short time without formal dependence with the employer.
Many online freelancers communities have adopted this modality and many websites drive it.
