Future of Work – Disruption – Remote Operations
This post is a conceptual summary of the chapter of the same name in the book "How the Future of Work will be" that I started writing in 2012 about the futuristic of the future of work.
The automation of tasks, the decentralization of productive and daily processes of the companies and the global distribution of technological equipment, workers and offices have made it possible that the location where the business processes are carried out is not of importance.
A bank transfer today can be done from any location and its processing can be done from different physical locations.
On the other hand, the location where the processes are carried out is anywhere in the world since the technology allows to locate servers, equipment, devices, robots, devices anywhere and manage them and use them from anywhere in the world.
The rise of cloud platforms allows managing tasks from anywhere in the world.
Different processes of a workflow can be done in different points and intercommunicate results and statistics from different origins distributed with online results.
Processing levels are enhanced and the stages of the processes can be developed in parallel throughout the world.
You can monitor the results in real time and remotely and consult them at any time.
